Anoka Hennepin Credit Union (AHCU) will be conducting a System Enhancement that will temporarily limit credit union services beginning at 4:00 p.m. May 31, through June 3, 2018. The Enhancement is scheduled to be completed, with all credit union services again available, on Monday, June 4, 2018. We have sent you this early notice to give you adequate time to plan how to best handle your financial needs during this time.

There will be no changes to your account numbers. During the Enhancement window, access to ATMs at our branches and other locations will be available, and you will also be able to use your AHCU Visa® debit and Master Card® credit cards, as well as your personal AHCU checks. The following services will be temporarily unavailable during the enhancement work:

  • All branches will be closed during the three-day enhance process (Friday, June 1, through Sunday, June 3, 2018).
  • Online account access, mobile banking services, and Phone Branch will not be available after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, through June 3, 2018.
  • Loan approvals will not be available after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, through June 3, 2018.

What will not change after the System Enhancement:

  • All account numbers will remain the same
  • AHCU Mastercard® Credit cards and Personal Identification Numbers (PINs)
  • AHCU Visa® Debit/ATM cards and Personal Identification Numbers (PINs)
  • Automatic deposits
  • AHCU website www.ahcu.coop
  • Bill Pay payees and payments
  • AHCU routing number

 

What will change after the System Enhancement:

  • AHCUdigital Log In – The first time you log in after the enancement:
    • Temporary Username = Primary Member Number
    • Temporary Password = Sent to members via AHCUdigital email.
    • Create a new Username and Password
    • Exit.  Use your newly created username and password going forward.  
  • Digital Transfers - Any recurring, scheduled transfers established using AHCUdigital will need to be re-entered.  Log-on to AHCUdigital, click on "Transfer Money," and enter the necessary recurring transfer information.  
  • Phone Branch – Members who use the phone branch to access their account(s) will notice that the transaction code menu options have changed slightly.
  • AHCU Mobile APP – The enhancement will require all users to download the newest version of the Free AHCU Mobile App
  • Digital Transfers – Any recurring, scheduled transfers will need to be re-entered. Log-on to AHCUdigital, click on “Transfer Money,” and enter the necessary recurring transfer information.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Will I be able to access my accounts during the weekend?

You will be able to access your funds in a variety of ways however, you will have limited access to your accounts during the enhancement weekend. During this time, you will be able to access ATMs at our branches and other locations. You will also be able to use AHCU personal checks, AHCU’s Mastercard® Credit card, and your Visa® Debit/ATM card. Branches will have regular business hours on Thursday, May 31, but please note that all branches will be closed on Friday, June 1, Saturday, June 2, and Sunday, June 3rd. AHCUdigital services will not be available beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31st, and will remain inaccessible through Sunday, June 3,2018. The enhancement schedule is to be completed by Monday, June 4, 2018. For more details, please take a look at the account access availability schedule located further down the page.

2. Will my information be safe, and why are you conducting this enhancement?

All of your information is secure with Anoka Hennepin Credit Union and will remain safe throughout this System Enhancement and beyond. This is being done to improve the long-term capabilities of the credit union. The time is right to ensure we maintain our service standards for the benefit of existing and future members. The entire credit union team is working to ensure that it is a seamless transition for you, our member.

3. Will the enhancement weekend affect my direct deposits or automatic withdrawals?

Direct deposits and automatic withdrawals will be posted as part of the System Enhancement. For some, there may be a slight delay.

4. Will I still receive my eStatements?

With the exception of the month of May, members currently enrolled in eStatements will receive their eStatments as ususal from June, 2018 onward. For May statements, all eStatment users will receive paper statements.

5. Will I be able to use ATMs?

Yes. You will be able to access ATMs at our branches and other locations.

6. Will I be able to use my AHCU Visa® Debit/ATM and AHCU Mastercard® Credit cards during the enhancement weekend?

Yes. You will be able to use your Visa® Debit/ATM card and Mastercard® Credit card.
